The exciting new space has a dedicated classroom and dining area with stunning views of the YSP and resident highland cattle!!
Our separate artist studios will be located underneath the classroom where we will house our range of kilns and studio equipment.
We have access to outside space which we will certainly access in the summer months for possible raku workshops and alternative firing techniques.
We have disabled facilitiles on site.
Each student on our course will gain full free entry to the YSP. We will incorporate a research trip to the YSP as part of our course.

Accommodation information for students
Our studio is situated on the edge of the Yorkshire Sculpture park close to a village called West Bretton, Wakefield. There are several air b&Bs in the area that would be ideal to stay for the duration of the course. Below is a list of other areas all within a ten minute drive away.

N.B Please note our location. We are situated on Jebb Lane which is at the opposite side of the Sculpture Park from the main entrance. Approximately a 30 min walk from the main entrance through the park or 3 mins drive. If anyone has a problem with transport from your accommodation please don't worry. If you can get yourself here on the first morning we can make arrangements from then on (James and I both have vehicles and can usually accommodate lifts to and from the studio as well as car share possibilities).
Yorkshire Sculpture Park is located 7 miles outside of Wakefield and 20 miles south of Leeds in West Yorkshire. YSP is conveniently located one mile from M1 Junction 38 and is served by Leeds-Bradford, Doncaster-Sheffield and Manchester International Airports, all within a 90-minute drive away.
