Ceramic Desk Space at Clay Yorkshire for Independent Learning - 5 spaces only, 6 week block 2 days per week. BLOCK 1

We’re delighted to offer a limited number of desk spaces for independent learning at Clay Yorkshire, based in our inspiring studio at Longside, Yorkshire Sculpture Park.

This is a fantastic opportunity for ceramic artists or enthusiasts who want time and space to focus developing their passion—without the full commitment of running a dedicated studio.

Six week block: 

Dates: Block 1 September 2,3,15,16,22,23,29,30 October 6,7,20,21

What you get;

• Desk space access 2 days per week (10am–5pm) for a 6-week block.  Desk space - 240cm x 60cm

Limited storage per student.

Box size 68x43x37cm

• Weekly 1-hour per group support or demonstrations from resident artists James Oughtibridge and Rebecca Appleby

• Use of slab roller, studio tools, and limited kiln space for 3 pieces of work approx 40cm high or wide, 2 firings included  over the 6 weeks (bisque and glaze)

• Materials included: 1 bag studio clay, limited slips, underglazes, and oxides *

(extra clay can be purchased directly from the studio)

        • Use of kitchen, dining space.

         • Free parking

Price: £660 for 6 week block - dates are specified prior to booking (see above) 

There will be an option to roll over to next 6 week block if desired.

That’s just £55 per day for a materials-included creative workspace in a world-class setting.

With only 5 desk spaces available at any one time, early booking is highly recommended.
